Quality Spanish teaching built on real interaction and cultural immersion.
That sentence has been on our homepage for years, and it is short enough to be worth unpacking, because each part of it rules something out.
Quality teaching
Native, qualified teachers, a curriculum built on the CEFR and the Instituto Cervantes plan, and groups small enough that nobody hides at the back. It rules out the cheap model: a big room, a photocopied worksheet and a teacher who never hears you speak.
Real interaction
Class runs in Spanish from the first minute, in groups of three to five, so the default activity is talking rather than listening. It rules out the comfortable model, where you leave after a month with excellent grammar notes and no ability to order lunch.
Cultural immersion
The afternoon programme, the city, the teachers who tell you what people really say. It rules out the sealed model, where you could be studying Spanish in any classroom anywhere and would never know which country you were in.
