Our Buenos Aires campus is at Maipú 464, in the centre of the city. Students come from Europe, North America and Brazil, and most of them chose Argentina deliberately - they want rioplatense Spanish, not a neutral textbook version.

What working in Buenos Aires is actually like
Buenos Aires is a demanding, rewarding city to teach in. Our students are here for months rather than weeks, which means you see real progress rather than a fortnight of pleasantries - and it means the relationships matter more.
Teaching here has a particular advantage: you are not apologising for regional Spanish. Voseo, local vocabulary and porteño intonation are part of what students came for, and teaching them properly is the job rather than a deviation from it.
Who we hire in Buenos Aires
- Spanish teachers (ELE) - native or near-native Spanish with an ELE qualification, comfortable teaching rioplatense forms.
- English teachers - native-level English with a recognised certificate.
- Language coaches - holding a portfolio of students and tracking their progress.
- Student services - the contact point for everything outside the classroom.
Roles here need the right to work in Argentina. The application form asks about this directly.
How our hiring actually works
- You apply through the form on the job page. Four short steps, about eight minutes. You answer the questions before you upload your CV, so we read it with the right context.
- A person reads it. Alejandro or Raquel, not an automated filter.
- First conversation. Usually a video call of thirty to forty minutes. We tell you what the job really involves, including the parts that are hard.
- A practical step. For teaching roles that means a demo class. For other roles, a short task related to the actual work. We do not set unpaid multi-day projects.
- Decision, either way. If it is a no, we will write and tell you. Silence is not an answer we use.
Your CV is stored privately on our own server, never published, and deleted after twelve months. Write to info@vamospanish.com and we will delete it sooner.

Do I have to be Argentinian to teach Spanish here?
No. You need native or near-native Spanish and the right to work in Argentina. Being comfortable teaching rioplatense forms matters more than where you grew up.
Are there English teaching jobs in Buenos Aires too?
Yes. Alongside our Spanish courses we teach English to local learners, so English teaching roles run at both campuses.
How long do students usually stay?
Longer than in Málaga on average - months rather than weeks, and often a full academic term or year. That changes what teaching here feels like.
