We're excited to have you on board! Before you begin, it's essential to go through our Terms and Conditions. We've designed them to be as clear and friendly as possible, ensuring you have all the information you need for a great experience with us.
Terms and Conditions: Understanding the Basics
- Vamos Academy (the "School"): That's us, the folks who will guide you through your language learning journey.
- You ("Student"): That's you, our valued participant, whether you're booking for yourself or on behalf of someone else.
- Force Majeure: Events beyond our control (like earthquakes, or unexpected government actions) that could disrupt our services.
Jurisdiction:
- Our activities at Vamos Academy are governed by the local laws relevant to each school's location. For our school in Argentina, Argentine laws will apply, and any legal matters will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Buenos Aires. Similarly, for our school in Spain, Spanish laws will be in effect, with disputes being resolved by the courts in Málaga. This delineation ensures that legal issues are managed efficiently and in accordance with the specific legal standards of the location you choose for your studies
Courses and Learning:
- Class Structure: Expect 4-hour group classes with a short break. The first day might include assessments to ensure you're in the right class level.
- Group Class Rules: A minimum of two students is needed to run a class. If it's just you, we'll arrange private lessons at no extra cost.
- Rescheduling and Refunds**: We can't offer refunds or rescheduling for missed group classes. Private lessons can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice.
For Online Classes only:
- Ensure you have a good internet connection, a working camera and mic, and a quiet space for your online lessons.
Materials and Intellectual Property:
- The materials we provide are for your eyes only. Sharing or selling them is not allowed.
Payments and Financial Compliance:
- Booking Confirmation: Your spot is guaranteed once full payment is received. We accept credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal.
- Credit Card Safety: We adhere to strict security standards to protect your credit card information. Transactions are encrypted and compliant with the latest security protocols.
- Transparency in Transactions: All costs associated with your course and accommodation will be clearly outlined, with no hidden fees
- Western Union: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payments via Western Union, as their services in Argentina are restricted to family support and personal remittances. According to Argentine regulations, transfers through Western Union must be for personal or family-related purposes, and documentation proving the relationship and purpose may be required. As such, this payment method cannot be used for business transactions or payments for goods and services
In-person Refund Policy:
Hey there! We totally get that sometimes, life doesn’t go as planned, and changes are inevitable. At Vamos Academy, we want to work with you to make these hiccups as hassle-free as possible. Here’s our refund policy, crafted with care, to keep things fair and clear for everyone involved:
- When You Change Your Mind:
- A Whole Month (or More) Notice: If you let us know over 30 days before your course begins that you can’t make it, we’re happy to refund you fully, minus a small 15% service charge. We need this bit to manage the prep work we’ve done for your arrival.
- Caught in the Middle (14 to 30 Days Ahead): Changed plans? We understand. If it’s between 14 to 30 days before your course starts, we can offer a 50% refund. It’s a way for us to balance your needs and ours.
- Last Minute News (Less than 14 Days): Oh dear, this is a tough one. If it’s less than 14 days away, we’ve likely set everything up just for you, so we can’t offer a refund at this point. But we’re here to talk about how we might still support you in another way.
- If We Have to Cancel:
- It’s Not You, It’s Us: Should we ever need to cancel a course (aside from those rare force majeure events), you’ll get every penny back, no questions asked.
- When Nature Acts Up: For cancellations due to force majeure (like unexpected natural events, national strikes and such), we offer two choices - a full refund or the option to transfer what you’ve paid towards a future course or online classes. Let’s make lemonade out of lemons together!
- On Missing Classes:
- Life doesn’t stop; we get that. If you miss a class, we can’t offer a refund or individual make-up sessions, but we promise to help you catch up in any way we can.
- Heading Home Early?
- If for any reason you need to cut your course short, we're here to support you in other ways but can’t provide a refund for the missed part of your journey. A good travel insurance policy can be a real lifesaver in these situations.
- Adjustments and Smiles:
- We’re all about flexibility. Need to adjust your booking? Let’s chat. We’re keen to find a solution that’ll put a smile on your face, without any extra fees, as long as we have enough notice.
A Little Patience Goes a Long Way:
- Refunds take a bit of time to process - up to 15 days. We promise we’re on it, and we’ll do everything we can to speed things up.
Good to Know:
- Investing in travel insurance that covers cancellations and interruptions is a smart move and can give you peace of mind.
- We’re all ears if you have any questions or just want to talk through options. We’re here to make your experience smooth and enjoyable.

- Travel Requirements: It's up to you to have valid travel documents and visas. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal items.
Stay Informed:
- Public Holidays: Check how local holidays might affect your class schedule.
Pricing Details:
- Full Disclosure: Prices on our website include all applicable taxes. Any changes to course or accommodation prices will be communicated in advance.
Accommodation:
- We aim to meet your accommodation preferences, subject to availability. Early departure does not warrant a refund.
Respecting Each Other:
- Our Code of Conduct ensures a respectful and safe environment for everyone. Violations may lead to expulsion without a refund.
Data Protection:
- We value your privacy and handle your personal information in compliance with data protection laws. You'll always know how we use your data, and you can opt out of communications at any time.
