Argentina's Bicentennial Celebration in 6 days

Car lovers take notes!

Starting from today till May 23, there will be a classic automobile rally, “el Rally Camino del Bicentenario”, in Salta and Tucuman in celebration of the Bicentennial year. 36 classic models will be passing through various touristic and historic routes, covering a total of 580km. If you are in Buenos Aires, on Monday May 24, there will be a classic car exhibition organized by the Argentine Kaiser Club (an auto club established to reunite all the owners and fans of the once prominent Argentine automaker Kaiser which had manufactured many iconic cars, including the Torino, that the Argentines still drive today.). The exhibition will take place on Av. 9 de Julio and Av. Belgrano. Afterwards at 2pm, the cars will then join the parade on Av. 9 de Julio, traveling till Av. Corrientes and coming back down to Av. Belgrano. Around 200 cars are expected to participate!
