Moda historia buenos aires

As we draw closer to May 25, 2010, the day where we will celebrate our 200th anniversary of Independence, there are many things going on around town to celebrate such important milestone in Argentina’s history. This coming week, we’ll be sharing with you some of the many Bicentennial happenings as the country counts down to the BIG DAY!

Ending tomorrow Sunday May 16, there’s a very interesting Bicentennial-themed exhibition, ‘Moda + Historia’, at Palais de Glace in Recoleta. It is an exhibition that looks at the last 200 years of Argentine history, through the point-of-view of women and their ways of expression and communication: la moda (fashion). It is a free event but if you’d like to help Palais de Glace to sustain as a free cultural exhibition venue, you could show your appreciation by donating AR$2 at the door.

Don’t miss out this opportunity to have a non-conventional look into the Argentine past. Visit here to find out more.
