A private group is a class only for the people you choose. You pick the topics, the days and the pace; one teacher plans every lesson around your group.
Couples and partners
Prepare a trip together, or talk with a partner's Spanish-speaking family, with one teacher for the two of you.
Families
Parents and children, cousins or grandparents. Groups of children use the kids table below, with one age band per group (6 to 9 or 10 to 14).
Friends
A fixed weekly class with friends keeps everyone coming back. More speaking, more laughs, a lower price per head.
Work teams
Colleagues who deal with Spanish-speaking clients or suppliers. We build the vocabulary around your work and your real situations.
One table.
No surprises.
Total price for the whole group, then the share per person and per person per hour. The same prices as on our booking page, in Canadian dollars, no enrolment fee.

your first class.
Choose size and pack
Pick the number of people and the pack of hours on our booking page, or ask us first on WhatsApp.
Optional level test
Each person can take the free level test (about 6 minutes). It helps the teacher prepare; nobody is turned away because of a result.
Your plan and teacher
Our academic director matches a teacher and plans the first lessons around your group: topics, pace and tasks for each person.
Start
You agree the days and times with us, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm Toronto time, and start.
Which format
fits you?
✓ A private group is right when…
- You already have 2 to 10 people who want to learn
- You want to choose the topics and the timetable
- You want a lower price per person than 1-on-1
- Your group shares a goal: a trip, a family, a job
✓ Another format is right when…
- You are on your own: join an open group (Explorer, Traveler or Local)
- You need 100% of the class for your own goal: private 1-on-1
- You want a teacher at your home: Spanish at home
- You are booking for a child alone: kids packs

Private groups
FAQ Toronto.
How much does a private group Spanish class cost in Toronto?
▼
It depends on the group size and the pack. A 5-hour pack costs CA$286 in total for 2 people (CA$143 each) and CA$880 for 10 people (CA$88 each). The price per person per hour goes from CA$28.60 down to CA$16.32 with bigger groups and packs. All prices are in Canadian dollars with no enrolment fee.
How many people can join a private group?
▼
From 2 to 10 people. Above 10, we suggest two groups so that everyone speaks in every lesson.
Do we all need the same level?
▼
No. Your teacher plans tasks so that each person works at their own stretch point. The free level test helps the teacher prepare; it is optional.
When are the classes?
▼
You choose the days and times with us, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm Toronto time. Most groups meet once or twice a week for 1 to 2 hours.
Online or at home?
▼
Both work. Live online, everyone joins from their own place. At home, a teacher comes to one address in Toronto; at-home lessons are priced separately, see our Spanish at home page.
Can children join a private group?
▼
Yes. Brothers, sisters or friends of one age band (6 to 9 or 10 to 14) can learn together. Children's groups have their own price table on this page, from CA$18.77 per child per hour.
Can we focus on a topic, like work or a trip?
▼
Yes. Tell us the goal when you book: travel, family, business vocabulary, medicine, exam practice or simple conversation. The teacher builds the lessons around it.
How do we book and pay?
▼
Book the group size and pack on our booking page, or ask us first on WhatsApp or at online@vamospanish.com. How deposits and balances work is set out in the terms (Payment and your place).
