Fixed-Price Legal Packages for Spain, 2026
Six bundles covering the paperwork foreigners in Spain need most often, from a first NIE to full citizenship. Each package has a fixed from-price agreed in writing before we start, so you know the professional fee up front and only pay government costs at cost, separately.

VAMOS bundles the paperwork foreigners in Spain need most often into six fixed-price packages: Newcomer from 290 EUR, Retiring in the Sun from 1,250 EUR, Digital Nomad from 1,100 EUR, Student Staying On from 650 EUR, Buying a Home from 1,900 EUR, and our flagship Citizenship + DELE/CCSE from 890 EUR. Every price is a professional fee agreed in writing before we start; government tasas, exam fees, and notary costs are always billed separately at cost. Every service inside a package is also available on its own if you only need one piece of the puzzle.
Most foreigners moving to Spain do not need one legal service, they need four or five, in a specific order, within a specific window. A retiree needs a visa, then an NIE, then a padron registration, then a TIE card, roughly in that sequence and roughly within the same few months. Quoting each step separately means five separate conversations, five separate invoices, and no single person accountable for the whole file. So we built six fixed-price packages around the six situations we see most often at our Malaga office, each priced as one written fee for the whole bundle, with every included service also listed with its own link below in case you only need one piece.
Every package price on this page is our professional fee, agreed in writing before we start. It excludes 21% VAT, and it excludes government tasas, exam fees, notary charges, and any other third-party cost, all of which we itemise separately and confirm on your free call. Nothing here is a final quote for your specific case; family situations, prior refusals, and unusual income structures can change scope, which is exactly what the free call is for.
Newcomer from €290
Who it fits: anyone starting their paperwork trail in Spain in the first few weeks, whether you are an EU citizen registering for the first time or a non-EU resident whose visa or permit is already approved and who now needs the everyday administrative stack sorted before anything else works: a bank account, a phone contract, a rental agreement.
- NIE assignment, your foreigner identification number. See our NIE Number Spain guide.
- Empadronamiento, registering your address at the town hall. See our Empadronamiento Spain guide.
- Digital certificate (FNMT), your electronic ID for dealing with Hacienda and Seguridad Social online.
- Social security number assignment. See our Social Security Number Spain guide.
Bought separately at our published standalone rates, these four steps run about 320 EUR (150 for the NIE, 80 for empadronamiento, 40 for the digital certificate, 50 for the social security number). The Newcomer package bundles all four for 290 EUR, with one point of contact instead of four separate bookings.
Retiring in the Sun from €1,250 +€250 per family member
Who it fits: retirees and financially independent movers living on pension, savings, or investment income, who do not plan to work locally. Pairs naturally with our Retirement Visa Spain guide.
- Non-lucrative visa application and filing. See our Non-Lucrative Visa Spain guide.
- NIE assignment
- Empadronamiento, address registration
- TIE card booking and fingerprinting support. See our TIE Card Spain guide.
- Private medical insurance guidance, matching a policy to consulate requirements. See our Visa Health Insurance guide.
- Driving licence exchange. See our Driving Licence Exchange guide.
Buying the non-lucrative visa, NIE, TIE, and licence exchange separately at our standalone rates would run roughly 1,420 EUR (950 + 150 + 150 + 90). The package bundles them, plus padron and insurance guidance, for 1,250 EUR.
Digital Nomad from €1,100 +€200 per family member
Who it fits: remote employees and freelancers working for non-Spanish clients or employers who want to work legally from Spain rather than on tourist status.
- International teleworking visa application. See our Digital Nomad Visa Spain guide.
- NIE assignment
- Empadronamiento, address registration
- Digital certificate (FNMT)
- Tax guidance for your first Spanish tax year, including whether the Beckham Law flat-rate regime applies to your situation. See also our Tax Residency Spain guide.
The teleworking visa alone runs from 900 EUR standalone; adding NIE, padron, and the digital certificate separately would push the total past 1,170 EUR. The package covers all four for 1,100 EUR.
Student Staying On from €650
Who it fits: students already enrolled, or enrolling, in a course in Spain who want their visa or stay paperwork handled alongside their studies, plus a discount on Spanish lessons at our academy.
- Study visa or study stay/extension filing. See our Student Visa Spain guide.
- Student NIE and TIE. See our NIE and TIE Card guides.
- Empadronamiento, address registration
- Discount on a Spanish course at VAMOS Academy
This package leans on convenience and the course discount rather than a headline discount on the legal fee itself: one fixed price for the full paperwork stack, plus a perk most law firms cannot offer because they do not also run a language school.
Buying a Home from €1,900
Who it fits: foreign buyers purchasing a property in Spain, cash or mortgage, resident or non-resident. See our full Buying Property in Spain guide and Buying Property in Malaga guide.
- Full conveyancing advice, from the reservation (arras) contract through to completion at notary
- NIE assignment, required before any purchase can be registered in your name
- Power of attorney, so you can complete without flying back to Spain for the signing. See our Power of Attorney Spain guide.
- Utilities set-up, transferring or opening electricity, water, and gas supply contracts
- Non-resident Form 210 for your first tax year as an owner. See our Non-Resident Tax Spain guide.
Need only the contract reviewed before you sign, not the full purchase managed? See our Contract Review Spain guide, which covers reservation and arras contracts on their own from 120 EUR.
Our flagship package. Citizenship + DELE/CCSE is the one package where VAMOS does something almost no immigration firm can: we are also the Spanish language school your exam prep needs.
Citizenship + DELE/CCSE from €890
Who it fits: long-term residents ready to apply for Spanish nationality by residence, whether on the standard 10-year route, the 2-year route for nationals of Ibero-American countries and a few others, or the 1-year route for those married to a Spaniard. See our Spanish Citizenship Requirements guide and Citizenship by Marriage guide.
- Citizenship application build and filing
- CCSE (constitutional and cultural knowledge test) and DELE A2 Spanish exam preparation
- Exam booking for both tests
- Notary oath management once your citizenship is approved
Most citizenship applicants juggle two unrelated vendors: a lawyer for the legal file, and a separate language school for the DELE A2 exam and the CCSE test. VAMOS runs both from the same Malaga building. Our VAMOS Academy is the actual classroom where you prepare for the Spanish exam your citizenship file depends on, taught by people who talk to your legal team daily rather than a random school picked off a search result. Citizenship by residence alone is 600 EUR standalone; the flagship package adds exam preparation, exam booking, and notary oath handling for 290 EUR more, all under one roof and one fee.

“I have been taking classes at Vamos Academy to improve my Spanish so I can connect more with friends and family here in Spain, and it has been such a great experience. My teacher is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to explain.”
“At 72 I thought it was too late to learn and speak a language. Vamos proved me wrong. After several weeks in the school I was able to have limited communication with the locals.”

Fixed-price package questions, answered
What is included in a VAMOS fixed-price package?
Each package bundles the core legal filings a specific type of newcomer needs into one written-fee engagement instead of several separate quotes. A Newcomer package, for example, covers your NIE, town hall registration, digital certificate, and social security number under one fee agreed before we start, so there is no invoice-by-invoice guessing as each step comes up.
Do package prices include government fees, exam fees, or VAT?
No. Every package price is our professional fee only. Government tasas, visa fees, TIE card fees, exam fees for CCSE and DELE, and notary charges are paid directly by you at cost, and our professional fees are quoted excluding 21% VAT. We give you the full itemised breakdown, including third-party costs, on your free call before anything is booked.
Can I combine two packages, for example Digital Nomad and Buying a Home?
Yes. Many clients need more than one package, most often Digital Nomad or Retiring in the Sun paired with Buying a Home. We do not simply add both fees blind; we review the overlap, since you only need one NIE, for instance, and quote a combined fixed fee that avoids paying twice for a shared step.
What happens if my case turns out to be more complex than the standard package?
We flag it on your free call, before you commit. Most cases fit the standard package scope, but a second marriage, a prior visa refusal, an unusual income structure, or a complicated family situation can add work. If that applies to you, we quote the adjustment in writing upfront rather than surprising you with add-on invoices mid-file.
Is the family add-on fee the same for every package?
No. It varies by package because different family members need different documents. Retiring in the Sun adds 250 EUR per additional family member, Digital Nomad adds 200 EUR per additional family member, and packages built around a single applicant, like Citizenship + DELE/CCSE, do not carry a family add-on since each applicant needs their own separate nationality file regardless.
Which package fits a retiree who is not yet a Spanish resident?
Retiring in the Sun is built for exactly that situation: it bundles the non-lucrative visa application itself with the NIE, town hall registration, TIE card, medical insurance guidance, and driving licence exchange you will need once you land, so you are not chasing six separate providers during your first year.
Which package fits a remote worker moving to Malaga?
Digital Nomad, built around the international teleworking visa. It bundles your NIE, town hall registration, digital certificate for tax filings, and general tax guidance so you can start working legally from Spain without juggling a visa lawyer, a gestoria, and an accountant separately.
I already have my NIE. Can I still buy a package?
Yes. Tell us what you already hold on your free call and we deduct it from the package scope and quote accordingly; you are never charged twice for a step you have already completed. Packages exist for convenience, not to force you to redo paperwork.
Why is Citizenship + DELE/CCSE your flagship package?
Because VAMOS is genuinely two things under one roof: an immigration law practice and a Spanish language academy. Most citizenship applicants have to find a lawyer for the file and a separate language school for the DELE A2 exam and CCSE cultural test. We run both from the same Malaga building, so your legal file and your exam preparation are coordinated by people who talk to each other daily, not two unrelated vendors you manage yourself.
Do I have to pass a Spanish exam to get citizenship, and does the package cover it?
Yes, applicants for Spanish nationality by residence generally need to pass the DELE A2 Spanish exam and the CCSE test on Spanish constitutional and cultural knowledge, unless a specific exemption applies. The Citizenship + DELE/CCSE package includes exam preparation through our academy, booking both exams, and managing the notary oath once your citizenship is approved.
How is payment structured?
A package fee is agreed in writing before we start and typically split between an opening payment when we begin your file and a final payment tied to a defined milestone, such as filing or appointment booking, rather than one lump sum upfront. We confirm the exact split for your package on the free call.
What happens if my application is refused after I have paid for a package?
We review the refusal letter with you at no extra charge to identify whether it is fixable. Many refusals come down to a documentation issue rather than substantive ineligibility. If an appeal is the right route, we quote that as a separate, clearly scoped service rather than folding it silently into the original package fee.
Can I get a consultation before choosing a package?
Yes, two ways. A free consultation tells you which package fits and gives you a fee quote. If your situation is genuinely mixed, for example you are retiring but also planning to work part time, we also offer a paid 30 to 45 minute deep-dive consultation from 50 EUR that leaves you with a written plan of steps and deadlines even if you decide not to instruct us afterward.
Do packages work if I am not in Malaga yet or still abroad?
Yes. Several package steps, like the visa application itself, a power of attorney, or early document preparation, start before you land, often by video call and courier. The steps that legally require your physical presence, fingerprinting for your TIE card being the main one, wait until you are here, and we schedule those as part of the same package.
