Argentina bicentennial celebration 2010

Tomorrow Argentina will embark on our Bicentennial long weekend, leading up to the big day on May 25!. If you are one of the many who have decided to stay in the city to witness this historical celebration, you are in for a 4-day celebration of concerts, exhibitions, street performances, food stands, parades etc. All the festivities will be taking place on Av. 9 de Julio between Av. Belgrano and Av. Corrientes (where the Obelisk is). You won’t miss it because the city has been constructing and preparing for this special event since weeks ago and you will see many big structures and stands and murals all around that area! The problem will probably be, where to start?!

Information of what’s going to happen has been kept under tight lips, but finally, the words are out! Check out the schedule here!!
