Read about the tearful reunion of a father and his son, who have been reunited after a 33-year search. Francisco’s mother was arrested during the military dictatorship, gave birth in a detention center before he was adopted by another family who never told him of his origins. Abel, the father, is part of the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, a group that searches for information about the thousands of people that disappeared during the 1976 – 1983 dictatorship.
